Clink!

Clink! is a puzzle platformer where you play as a snake made up of chain links! Collect more chains to grow in length, and double jump to let go of a chain. Some chains have special elements which are required to solved some puzzles and complete the level.

CONTROLS

WASD - Move

Spacebar - Jump

Shift - Switch control between head and tail of the snake

Right Click / E - Grab using the head

Left Click / Q - Grab using the tai

GAME MECHANICS

• Double jumping uses up one of your existing chain links -You can use the grab button to latch on to hooks or crates with your head or tail -Spikes snap your chain at the point of contact
• Use elemental chains to get past element-based obstacles
• Try switching control between the head and the tail to get past some puzzles

We wanted to name the game Metal Chain Solid: Legend Of The Links but decided not to. Oh well.

All of the sprites and music are original assets produced by our amazing team! It was a steely effort from the team in such a short amount of time, an amazing experience regardless.

Submission for WTFxIGDC Game Jam. We picked the topic of "Chain Reaction".
